The Council meets at 7.15pm on the first Tuesday of each month in the Council Chamber. Members of the public are most welcome to attend meetings of the Council and there are two sessions at the beginning and at the end of the meeting when residents can raise issues of concern or ask questions; each session is limited to ten minutes and each member of the public is allowed to speak for up to three minutes. Full guidance can be downloaded here. However, because of the current situation, until further notice, meetings are being held using video conferencing technology so please contact the Clerk if you would like to make a representation or simply listen in.
Under the Openness of Local Government Regulations 2014 the public has the right to record, film and broadcast council meetings, subject to certain restrictions. The Council’s Standing Order on the Management of Recording at its meetings can be downloaded here.
