Message from the Town Council

Pateley Bridge Town Council would like to express its deepest sadness at the news of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

Councillors, together with parishioners, join the country and the Commonwealth in mourning her loss and send our thoughts and condolences to the Royal Family.

Special Help Available if Needed

For anyone who may struggle to attend a book of condolence in person, we are offering the facility for a member of the Council or the Clerk to visit and pick up handwritten messages. A Book of Condolence has been opened for members of this community to express their sentiments.
The Book will be available on Saturday 10th September 10.00 to 15.00; Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th September 14.00 - 16.00, at the Pateley Bridge and Bewerley Memorial Hall, Park Road Pateley Bridge. Additional dates and times may become available and, if so, updates will be provided.
An online Book of Condolence is also open at The Royal Family
Members of the public wishing to lay flowers, may do so on the lawn in front of the Memorial Hall.
