Red Brae Roadworks

I have just been advised that the works on Red Brae Bank have been further delayed with the recent wet weather as a section of ground below the repaired carriageway is too wet to progress the slope repair and drainage works. This will therefore extend the road closure and the carriageway is now planned to be opened on Friday 27^th January.

The road will then be under two way lights to keep traffic away from the partially completed strengthening works which will go on into February subject to the weather conditions.
